About me

I’m a Brazilian scientist and mom with a major in Biology (2012) and MSc (2014) and Ph.D. (2020) in Ecology and Evolution by the Universidade Federal de Goiás – Goiás (UFG). I’m interested in the fields of macroecology, macroevolution, biogeography, natural history, and science communication for children. I’m currently a postdoctoral fellow of the Laboratory for Theoretical Ecology and Synthesis at the UFG in partnership with the Spatial Evolutionary Ecology Group of the Swiss Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research – WSL. My current research focuses on (1) evolutionary aspects of species interaction, specifically the coevolution between plants and hummingbirds and (2) macroecological patterns in environmental space.
